2.0 AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT AND DISABILITY SECTOR NEWS2.1 Anti – Terrorism Bill Senate Inquiry Report and SeditionSenate Legal and Constitutional Inquiry into the Anti-Terrorism (No.
2) Bill 2005 calls for removal of sedition clauses from the proposed legislation.
2.2 Review of the Commonwealth State/Territory Disability Agreement (CSTDA)The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) has criticized the failure
of the Agreement to contain measures of outcomes, effectiveness, quality
and unmet need. Without such information, the ANAO says, it’s impossible
to show whether or not the CSTDA is meeting its objectives. The full report

Of the 154 countries represented at this historic meeting, 148 voted in favour of adoption. Only the United States and Israel voted against. Australia, with Honduras, Liberia and Nicaragua, abstained.
