Mr McMullen requested that AAA provide disability arts policy ideas for his portfolio. It is part of AAA's brief to provide policy advice to all Government parties, and it will continue to do so. However we will be responding specifically to Mr McMullen's request. All AAA members are invited to input into this. Please contact AAA at coord@dadaanat.net.au ArtsPeak goes to CanberraAn ArtsPeak delegation is going to Canberra at the end of the month to meet with politicians of all parties. At its last meeting in mid-May, members of Arts Peak including AAA (representing the peak arts service organisations in Australia) resolved to lobby for a whole of government approach to be taken in the development of a long term coherent and comprehensive arts policy in Australia which will build Australia's cultural capital. Artspeak is emphasising the importance of the recognition of the arts as central in research and innovation. 2.
