Join us for an International Chinwag!

The Disability Arts and Leadership Online Group (DIALOG) will soon be holding it's next meeting and we invite arts leaders with disability from anywhere in the world to join us!

Given disability leadership continues to be extremely important to AAA, we willingly committed to leading DIALOG - an international network exclusively for artists and arts and cultural workers with disability to come together to develop skills, build networks and share experiences.

DIALOG began as an idea in 2012, when Arts Access Australia attended an arts and disability symposium at the Kennedy Centre in Washington, USA. This symposium brought together artists and arts and cultural workers from across the world working in the arts and disability sector. Meeting fellow arts leaders with disability provided a wonderful opportunity to learn and exchange information. The need for stronger international networks to support disability leadership across the arts emerged as a high priority of the symposium.

The group began meeting via Skype in early 2013 and have continued to meet regularly ever since.

If you are an artist or arts worker interested in leadership and you identify as a person with disability, you can join DIALOG by emailing Caitlin, AAA Program Officer or calling her on 0467 200 718. Please let us know if you have any access requirements.
